MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Jessica! My love for creating started back in high school when I first got into photography. I quickly fell in love with being behind the camera, trying different angles, capturing moments, and finding new ways to bring an idea to life.
Over time, that love for photography grew into videography, filmmaking, and editing. I decided to pursue film at Columbia College Chicago, where I studied for about two years. I loved the creative side of filmmaking, but I started to realize that I wanted to take my creativity in a different direction. I had always been interested in business and marketing, and I wanted to find a way to combine the two.
That led me to Arizona State University, where I earned my degree in marketing. It gave me the opportunity to bring together two things I genuinely love: being creative and understanding the strategy behind growing a business.
Social media naturally became a huge part of that. I’ve always loved creating and posting content, whether it was making videos for my own YouTube channel, taking photos, filming, editing, or coming up with new ideas. I love the entire process of taking an idea and turning it into something people can actually see and connect with.
I’ve also always dreamed of owning my own business, which is what eventually inspired me to create Glo Up Creative. I wanted to build something of my own around what I genuinely enjoy doing while also helping other business owners bring their vision to life.
Today, I get to combine my background in photography, video, marketing, and social media to help businesses create content they’re proud of, connect with their audience, and continue to grow.
